There is nothing worse then going to work and becoming a victim of workplace harassment. It is cruel and demoralizing to be ridiculed and demeaned anywhere, but when it is in a place that you have to be for eight hours a day with no respite then it becomes downright tortuous. Many feel that it is better to remain silent for fear of losing our jobs and all the misery that can come from it. When it becomes unbearable and we can no longer put up with the harassment then it’s time to take matters into our own hands and finally do something about it.

A position with court reporting careers is an exciting a unique position. There are seldom two days the same and it is a vital part of the courtroom proceedings. The court reporter is the individual that is seen sitting by the judge and typing all parts of the conversations taking place.

Unfortunately, for those wanting to secure a legal training contract and go on to become a solicitor it can be very much a lottery based on the state the economy is in at the time of graduation. Obviously it is much better to graduate in a time of boom than it is a time of bust.
